Orlando may have year-round warm weather, but the city still celebrates the seasons in style. From classic harvest festivals to spooky Halloween events, fall is packed with events. Here’s a list of ways to celebrate the season!


Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World

Disney World fans love visiting in fall for this special ticket event. In 2018, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is offered three nights a week (7pm-midnight). Guests can trick or treat, watch the Boo to You Parade, meet special characters and enjoy the Happy Hallowishes fireworks show. And, costumes are more than welcome – get creative! August–November


Oktoberfest at Town Center

Celebrate the season in ye olde German tradition at Town Center in Celebration, Florida. The city transforms with colorful falling leaves on Market Street. Enjoy live music with family and friends while you feast on traditional German food. Oktoberfest also includes a hayride, dancing and pumpkins to paint. October 19-20.


Boo at the Zoo at Brevard Zoo

This family-favorite Halloween destination features trick-or-treating, DJ’s, haunted houses and costume contests. The zoo will close at 3:30pm to allow guest to enjoy the special event. Of course, families can also check out the Brevard Zoo animal exhibits. October 12 – 14, 19 – 21 & 26 – 28.


Halloween in OrlandoHalloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld

Perfect for kids and included in your park admission, SeaWorld offers festive fun for the family at the Halloween Spooktacular. Families can watch the spooky and silly live shows, trick or treating and coloring activities throughout the park. It’s a daytime event and a perfect addition to SeaWorld’s up-close animal encounters. Get tickets on Best of Orlando. September 22–October 28.


Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando

Halloween Horror Nights is Orlando’s favorite place for a scream. The special event features nine terrifying haunted houses that are themed around popular scary TV and movies, like FX’s American Horror Story. Don’t miss out – get tickets to this wildly popular event! September  14–November  3, 2018.


American Ghost Adventures

Take a guided tour of Orlando’s most haunted locations. On Friday the 13th, American Ghost Adventures will offer three tours: Downtown Orlando, Pub Tour in Downtown Orlando and Melbourne. In late October, they have a ghost tour of Orlando’s Greenwood Cemetery. Spots are limited.


International Food and Wine Festival at Epcot

Celebrate global cuisines; listen to international music and watch cooking demonstrations at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. Eat your way around the World Showcase, with over 20 specialty kiosks. The festival is included with park admission cost. Tickets are going like hot cakes – get them now. August 30–November 12, 2018.


Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show

Enjoy a night of dinner, comedy and help solve a mystery. Be careful – you might be selected for a cameo role in the dinner show! The improvisational show offers themed nights exclusive for the season.


Freak Show Horror Film Festival

If you love horror movies, this is the film festival for you! Located at Premiere Cinemas, on East Colonial Drive, the 2018 Freak Show Horror Film Festival will showcase independent filmmakers in the horror genre. October 26-28, 2018.
