Orlando may have year-round warm weather, but the city still celebrates the seasons in style. Starting in late August, you’re sure to relish in fantastic food, Halloween thrills and classic harvest festivals. Here’s a list of ways to celebrate the season!

Fall Foodie Festivals & Events in Orlando

Between celebrity chefs, local culinary heroes and a fresh-focused farm-to-table movement, Orlando’s dining scene continues to amaze even the most demanding palates. Fall offers a seasonal cornucopia of events that can help you build a dream foodie vacation — starting with Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining®, returning from Aug. 23 – Sept. 30, 2019!

During this popular program’s 14th year, a record-breaking 125 of Central Florida’s top restaurants are offering three-course, prix-fixed dinner menus for just $35 per person, with $1 from each meal supporting deserving charities. In addition to many returning favorites, 2019’s lineup includes 11 restaurants that have never previously participated, including several that opened over the past year.

Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival (Aug. 29 – Nov. 23)

At Walt Disney World® Resort, sip and savor cuisine, wine and libations from around the globe during this world-famous celebration at Epcot, running for a record-shattering 87 days — and starting the same day that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®! In addition to 30 Global Marketplaces, 2019’s edition will include chef demonstrations, hands-on workshops, special events like “Party for the Senses,” and separately priced happenings. There’s also plenty for families with children, including nightly dance parties, a play area, select dishes and demonstrations designed just for kids, and Remy’s Ratatouille-inspired scavenger hunt.

From Aug. 19 – Nov. 19, the festival will feature the popular “Eat to the Beat” concert series, with newcomers like Boyce Avenue, Kris Allen, Lauren Daigle and Sawyer Brown, plus returning favorites such as Boyz II Men, Hanson, Plain White T’s, Sheila E. and Sugar Ray. Entry to the event is included with park admission. (Food and beverages sold separately.)

Craft Beer Festival at SeaWorld® Orlando (Weekends, Sept. 7 – Oct. 27)

Expanded to even more weekends for 2019, and included with park admission, this beverage bonanza at SeaWorld Orlando will feature 100-plus draft beers from Florida breweries, plus select domestic and international craft favorites. The festival will also offer unique food items designed to pair perfectly with the brew selection.

Orlando: Halloween Vacation Capital®

Orlando is ready to scare up a ghoulishly good time this Halloween with spooky soirees and fantastic fun. Here’s your guide to 2019’s most happening haunts, including options for kids and adults — but keep in mind that these are just the start of everything we’re hosting this Halloween!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World® Resort (Select Nights, Aug. 16 – Nov. 1)

Held for a record 36 nights at Magic Kingdom® Park at Walt Disney World Resort, this specially ticketed, after-hours event captures the spirit of the season with spooky décor, lighting and music. This year, you can look forward to returning features such as “Mickey’s Boo to You Parade” — which has some new surprises this year, including fresh outfits for Mickey and Minnie — as well as the “Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular” castle stage show. Trick-or-treating, including allergy-free options, will also be available throughout the park. (Children are encouraged to dress in costume.)

You’ll also experience special attraction experiences for Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain, among other surprises park-wide. And fresh for 2019 is a brand-new fireworks spectacular featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy as they trick-or-treat through a haunted house!

Every fall at Universal Orlando Resort, nightmares rule the darkness when Halloween Horror Nights returns! This separately ticketed event at Universal Studios Florida features haunted houses drawn from the greatest horrors to chill the bravest souls and streets transformed into sinister scare zones, while screams and mad laughter echo from outrageous live entertainment. And across the park, some of Universal Orlando Resort’s most exhilarating attractions will tempt you with thrilling escapes!

Halloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld® Orlando (Weekends, Sept. 21 – Oct. 27)

Included with regular admission and running on weekends at SeaWorld Orlando, this celebration returns with Halloween fun for the whole family. Features include trick-or-treating, a special edition of Pet’s Ahoy, a Halloween dance party, whimsical sea creatures, playtime fun, a Mermaid Grotto and more.

Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort (Weekends, Oct. 5-27)

Build an unforgettable Halloween for all ages while collecting candy on the Brick-or-Treat Trail at this LEGOLAND® Florida Resort event, which runs on weekends and is included with park admission. Other fun features include The Tale of Pirates’ Cove Fireworks Spectacular, Groovin’ Graveyards and Jammin’ Jack-o-Lanterns live shows, a Monster Bash Dance Party, LEGO® Halloween character meet-and-greets, larger-than-life LEGO® models, scavenger hunts, and other surprises.

Gators, Ghosts and Goblins at Gatorland (Select Dates, Oct. 19-31)

For the first time ever, Gatorland — one of Orlando’s original attractions — is hosting a Halloween event, and it’s included with park admission. Throughout the park, you’ll have the chance to brave several spooky themed areas featuring ghoulish actors and selfie zones. The festivities will also include shows, specialty vendors and Frank & Stein’s Octoberfest Pavilion, offering themed food and beer for purchase as well as characters and entertainment.
