Celebrate the Holidays in Indian Shores

From Tampa’s Busch Gardens to St. Petersburg’s Dali Museum to Clearwater Beach comes an uptick in the usual tourist traffic for the holiday season and Legacy Vacation Club Indian Shores is in the heart of it all. 41st Annual International Folk Fair – Celebrate ethnic foods, entertainment, traditions, folk arts and more in St. Pete! Over 40 ethnic backgrounds and world cultures will be represented at this annual event. The fun takes place from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday and 12-6 p.m. on Sunday at Vinoy Park. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for students and children are 6 are free.

website_event_size_template112Conga Caliente Festival – Conga Caliente, Premier Family Festival, Celebrates its 12th year! This event will take place in Al Lopez Park, Tampa Florida which is located directly across the street from Raymond James Stadium. The event is from 11 am to 6pm and is a free admission event; this will be Conga Caliente’s 1th year. It is the Tampa Bay Area’s largest Festival celebrating Hispanic Arts and Culture which brings a crowd of approximate 45,000 – 50,000 people. The event is family oriented and is welcoming to all Hispanic backgrounds and non Hispanics to come enjoy a great day at the park with sizzling music and extensive quality exhibits.

Tampa Bay Home Show – Hundreds of area home specialists will be on hand at Tropicana Field showing the latest and greatest in home design. The 3-day show is open to the public on Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission and parking is free.

52nd Annual Dunedin Art Harvest – Watch as artists compete for prize money and awards in this fire art show and sale. More than 200 artists from around the country will be exhibiting in 13 categories. The free fun goes down from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on both days at Highlander Park.

Taking advantage of the unique and intimate atmosphere of the historic streetcars, the act will perform on board the Streetcar, between Centennial Park Station (Station #1) and Whiting Station (Station #11) from 5-7 p.m. The act will board Streetcar #434 leaving Centennial Park Station at 4:40 p.m. The rolling concert series is all ages and included in the TECO Line Streetcar System fare, just $2.50 for a one-way ride or $5.00 for an all-day pass.

Holiday Lights in the Garden – Take in more than 750,000 lights as the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo are magically transformed into a holiday paradise for visitors to stroll through. This free event is open to fans and the public from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and don’t forget to take in the nightly sunset festival just down the beach at Pier 60.
